¯ Deputies responded Sunday to Ohio 821 in Aurelius Township to a reported domestic dispute involving Matthew Salla. It was reported that Salla was in the process of moving out of a residence when a verbal argument occurred, which turned physical. Salla reportedly grabbed the other party by the hair and pulled her down onto the couch, and immediately onto the floor. Salla then followed the individual to the bedroom and cornered her. Salla later reportedly struck the subject in the back of the head. Salla left the residence prior to deputies arriving. Deputies met with Salla at another location where he stated no threats of violence took place. Matthew Scott Salla, 27, of Massillon, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail for domestic violence.
¯ A deputy was on patrol Sunday when he observed a vehicle backed into the driveway to a vacant residence. The deputy conducted a search of the area for the vehicle occupants, finding Ronald Bettinger inside a shed rummaging through the contents. Bettinger advised he was checking on the property for a friend, who was also present. The deputy met with Marlena Lawson, who stated her uncle asked her to check the property. Contact was made with the property owner, who advised that they did not know the two subjects, nor did he give them permission to be on the property. Randal Eric Bettinger, 23, of 2509 Valley View Drive, Belpre, was placed under arrest and charged with theft, breaking and entering, and possession of criminal tools. Marlena Jean Lawson, 26, of 690 Ferncliff Road, Marietta, was placed under arrest and charged with theft, breaking and entering, and possession of criminal tools.
¯ While on patrol Monday, a deputy observed a UTV operating southbound, crossing the double yellow line multiple times. A traffic stop was attempted, however the driver continued on Warrior Drive, accelerating. At the intersection of Warrior Drive and Ohio 339, the driver of the UTV left the roadway into the berm, almost striking a street sign. The UTV was temporarily immobilized as the deputy approached the driver, advising him to stop. The driver disregarded the commands and sped off in the opposite direction. The deputy continued the pursuit onto Ohio 339 and several back roads. The UTV eventually came to stop on Hickman Road. Anthony Eugene Stout, 40, of 1157 Walsh Road, Vincent, was placed under arrest and charged with carrying a concealed weapon and failure to comply. Citations were issued for reckless operation, prohibited acts, and driving in marked lanes.
¯ A deputy began an investigation Tuesday in Dunham Township regarding a vehicle being entered and items removed.
¯ An investigation was initiated Tuesday into counterfeit money being passed in Belpre Township.
¯ A deputy was dispatched Tuesday to 26960 State Route 7, Marietta Township, Par Mar Store, to a report of approximately $3,500 stolen from a coin machine in the laundromat. Employees detected the laundry machines were becoming shorter on change and bills than usual.
Reviewing security footage, a man and woman were observed entering the laundromat. The female is shown walking to the machine and accessing the inside, indicating she has a key. Employees believed the female to be Erica J. Arbaugh, a former manager. A summons is being requested through Marietta Municipal Court for Arbaugh, of 1660 Finkle Hill Road, Beverly, on a charge of tampering with a coin machine and theft.
¯ A deputy responded Tuesday to Wesley Township to a burglary complaint. The homeowner stated they woke to find Shanda Renee Young had entered the home without permission. A warrant was requested for Young, 307 N. Fourth Street, Coshocton, on a burglary charge.
¯ An investigation was initiated Wednesday into a theft in Muskingum Township.

¯ Anthony Eugene Stout, 40, of Vincent, was arrested for failure to comply, a felony, and carrying a concealed weapon, a misdemeanor.
¯ Scottie Lydell Minnis, 22, of Cambridge, was arrested for failure to reinstate operator's license, a misdemeanor.
¯ Jonathan Carl Forshey, 31, of Marietta, was arrested for possessing defaced firearm, obstructing official business, domestic violence, both misdemeanors, having weapons while under disability and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, both felonies.
¯ David Lee Colvin, 60, of Marietta, was arrested for OVI, failure to reinstate operator's license, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs, and contempt of court, all misdemeanors.
¯ Scott Allen Shankland, 52, of Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence, a felony.
¯ James David Warner, 40, of Marietta, was arrested for violating a protection order, a felony.
¯ Shad Allan Martin, 44, of Parkersburg, was arrested for probation violation, theft and receiving stolen property, all felonies.
¯ Debra Lee Sampson, 28, of Parkersburg, was arrested for breach of recognizance, receiving stolen property and three counts of forgery, all felonies.
¯ Michael Paul Hollingsworth, 42, of Belpre, was arrested for aggravated possession of drugs, possession of fentanyl, parole violation and tampering with evidence, all felonies.
¯ Kenneth Lee Thompson, 49, of Belpre, was arrested for a parole violation, a felony.
¯ Justin Allan Jones, 34, of Marietta, was arrested for two counts of trafficking in drugs, both felonies.
¯ Destiny Renee Covey, 29, of Marietta, was arrested for permitting drug abuse, a felony.
¯ George Edward Fonner IV, 53, of Parkersburg, was arrested for two counts of contempt of court.
¯ Linda Elizabeth Slonaker, 39, of New Matamoras, was arrested for obstructing official business, and receiving stolen property, both felonies.
¯ Stephen William Gill, 67, of Marietta, was arrested for a probation violation, a misdemeanor.
