Reports/Washington County

¯ Deputies were dispatched April 30 to the baseball fields on Buell Island, Adams Township, in reference to several 911 calls being received reporting an adult male was in a fight with a juvenile male.

Deputies were directed to meet with John Lazear. Lazear reported witnessing a juvenile male in somewhat of a physical fight with a juvenile male. Lazear stated the two were in a heated argument as well with lots of cussing and yelling. Lazear attempted to intervene between the two as there were many people present, including a multitude of children that day.

The juvenile male then turned his anger towards Lazear and started yelling and cursing at him. Lazear then challenged the juvenile male to a fight. John Michael Lazear, 25, of Lowell, will be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on a charge of disorderly conduct. The juvenile male will be summoned into Juvenile Court on a charge of disorderly conduct.

¯ A deputy was on patrol May 1 nearing the area of the Quality Inn, where he observed two occupants that appeared to be slumped over. The driver, Richard Anderson, and passenger, Kaylan Wallace, were advised that they were being checked on due to them being slumped over.

A glass smoking device was observed in plain view in the vehicle. The occupants were asked to exit the vehicle. A clear baggie was located containing a crystalline like substance. When asked what it was Anderson stated, "I don't know, but it looks like meth".

A makeup bag was located with a powdery substance inside. Wallace advised she did not know what it was, but possibly it could be heroin. Wallace advised a bag of drugs was located in her clothing, stating it was methamphetamine.

Kaylan Renea Wallace, 31, of 350 Lang Farm Road, Marietta, was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of aggravated possession of drugs. Richard L. Anderson, 42, of 218 Broughton Ave., Marietta, was placed under arrest and charged with aggravated possession of drugs.

Arrests/Washington County

The following individuals were recently processed into the Washington County:

¯ Steven Marshall Houston, 40, of Vermillion, was arrested for OVI, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, speed, no seatbelt, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs, all misdemeanors.

¯ Alec Lee Davis, 24, of Marietta, was arrested for assault, a felony, criminal trespass and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

¯ Matthew Edwin Deem, 41, of Belpre, was arrested for contempt of court, a felony.

¯ April Dawn Roberts, 45, of Sistersville, W.Va., was arrested for aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.

¯ Jeremy David Parker, 42, homeless, was arrested for theft, possession of abuse instruments and carrying a concealed weapon.

¯ Brandon Alexander Olah, 37, of Fleming, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

¯ Jeffrey Alan Theiss, 44, of Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.

¯ Bryce Michael Stacy, 23, of Parkersburg, was arrested for breaking and entering, theft without consent, both felonies, and theft of a firearm, a misdemeanor.

¯ Whitney Ann Boyd, 27, of Coolville, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

¯ Emma Jane Hodgson, 19, of Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, a felony.

¯ Anthony Lewis Lawrence, 23, of Belpre, was arrested for probation violation, and two counts of domestic violence, all misdemeanors.
