¯ A patrolman responded May 1 to Walmart in reference to a theft that occurred earlier. Upon arrival, the patrolman spoke to the loss asset prevention agent. The APA stated they had a man earlier in the day steal five packs of Pokemon cards valued at $22. The individual was later located and identified as Chris Holder. He was placed under arrest for theft and later released on a personal recognizance bond.
¯ A patrolman was dispatched to a Greene Street address May 31 in reference to an unruly juvenile. The juvenile will be summoned into juvenile court for disorderly conduct.
¯ An officer assisted Powell Police Department May 31 in reference to a runaway/missing juvenile who was reported to be in the area of Marietta. The juvenile was later located in Powell.
¯ A patrolman was dispatched May 31 to the bike path in the 600 block of Front Street to assist Marietta Fire Department with an overdose patient. The patrolman learned that a woman had injected fentanyl into her neck and had passed out. She was found in possession of 6.7 grams of a white powdery substance, nine syringes, digital scales and a burnt measuring spoon. She stated that the powdery substance was fentanyl that she had just purchased. She was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment.
¯ An officer responded June 1 to an address on Mulberry Street in reference to vehicles being entered and items being taken.
¯ Officers made contact Thursday with Tiffany D. Bowman at 229 Franklin St. She was placed under arrest for a failure to appear warrant through the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
¯ A patrolman responded Friday to Bridgeport Equipment, 15 Acme St., in reference to a theft complaint. After the investigation, it was learned that the suspect stole $44.98 worth of merchandise. The patrolman will request a warrant be issued to the suspect for theft.
¯ An officer responded Friday to a Riverview Drive address in reference to a death on arrival. Upon arrival, the officer found that a 37-year-old woman had passed away. The deceased was sent for an autopsy, but foul play is not suspected.
¯ Units responded Friday to 720 Sixth St. in reference to a man possibly under the influence destroying property. Upon arrival, officers located a man standing in the bathtub screaming about being a superhero and saving the world. The officers, all Crisis Intervention Team trained, attempted to verbally de-escalate the man for several minutes. The man slapped an officer's hand and pushed another. David Richard Caldwell was arrested and charged with obstructing official business and resisting arrest.
¯ Units responded Friday to a Washington Street address in reference to a death. Upon arrival, Marietta Police units, along with Marietta Fire Department, confirmed the 42-year-old woman was deceased. Foul play is not suspected, but autopsy results are pending.
¯ A patrolman stopped a white Mitsubishi Montero Saturday. During the stop, the patrolman's K-9 indicated on the right rear door. Suspected narcotics were seized and submitted for testing.
¯ An officer was dispatched Saturday to Walmart in reference to a bicycle being stolen from the front of the store. Information was passed out and Marietta College Police spotted a similar bike being pushed by a man near Pioneer Park. Officers found the suspect and confirmed it was the stolen bicycle. Derek Harris was arrested for theft.
¯ An officer responded Monday to 626 Eighth St. in reference to a motorcycle being damaged.
Reports/Washington County
¯ A deputy responded May 30 to Pine Ridge Road, Fleming, in reference to Derek Jordon Vanhorn, 34, last known address of 813 Bryden Road, Columbus, being at the residence and threatening the homeowners with burning down the house.
Vanhorn reportedly got out of the Chevy truck he was driving and confronted the homeowner, asking where some property was that he stated the homeowner stole from him. Vanhorn was told to leave the residence in which he did. A warrant was requested and issued through Marietta Municipal Court on a charge aggravated menacing and driving under specified lifetime suspension.
¯ A deputy began an investigation May 31 into a dog biting an individual in Marietta.
¯ A deputy was dispatched Thursday to Pike Street in reference to a dog running loose in the parking lot. A summons is being requested for Krystal E. Smith, 38, homeless, on a charge of failing to control her dog.
¯ Units were dispatched Friday to 1220 Brackenridge Road, Barlow Township, to a report of Christine V. Coe assaulting a subject with a screwdriver. Coe had thrown a screwdriver, which caused a visible wound in the victim's leg.
When deputies advised Coe she would be going to jail she said she was not going to jail, wanting deputies to shoot her. Upon attempting to take hold of Coe, she punched and was able to pinch the arm of a deputy. Christine V. Coe, 80, of Vincent, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence and assault of a peace officer. Coe was transported to the Washington County Jail.

¯ James Ellis Shaffer, 37, of Millfield, was arrested for possession of fentanyl, a felony.
¯ Nevin Anthony Clark, 34, of Lowell, was arrested for probation violation, a felony, and contempt of court, a misdemeanor.
¯ Rodney Duane Shriver, 31, of Malta, was arrested for two counts possession of drugs, and parole violation, all felonies.
¯ Brian Daniel Bates, 46, of Macksburg, was arrested for possession of drugs, a felony, resisting arrest, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and nonsupport of dependents.
¯ Dale Richard Caldwell, 21, of Marietta, was arrested for resisting arrest and obstructing official business, both misdemeanors.
¯ James Fredrick O'Brien II, 44, of Marietta, was arrested for three counts of domestic violence, two counts of disrupting public service, all felonies, no seatbelt and two counts of driving under suspension, all misdemeanors.
¯ Michael Ryan Fortney, 25, of Lowell, was arrested for parole violation, a felony, and aggravated menacing, a misdemeanor.
¯ Jeremy Lee Watson, 35, address unknown, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.
¯ Dustin Bradley Whipkey, 37, of Lowell, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.
¯ Timothy Brandon Neader, 37, of Marietta, was arrested for parole violation, a felony.
¯ Jason Matthew Grimes, 44, of Parkersburg, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
¯ Dirk Edward Filon, 37, of Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
¯ Daniel Lloyd Lott, 36, address unknown, was arrested for tampering with evidence, breaking and entering, and two counts of theft, all felonies.
¯ Jessica Ann Brooks, 40, of Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
