¯ Units responded June 21 to a domestic disturbance at 404 Mulberry St. Parties were separated and officers stood by while belongings were collected.
¯ Units responded June 22 to Marietta Municipal Court in reference to suspected drugs found on a man who came in for a probation check in. The suspected drugs were seized and will be sent for chemical testing.
¯ A patrolman responded June 22 to Walmart in reference to a dog being in a vehicle. Upon arrival, the dog had already been taken out of the vehicle. However it was found that the dog was left in the vehicle for approximately 25 minutes in 92 degree heat. Charges are pending.
¯ A patrolman responded June 22 to an E. Eighth Street residence in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the patrolman spoke to the complainant, who advised that her ex-boyfriend, who she has a child with, assaulted her and entered her camper without her permission at 6:45 a.m. that day. The investigation is ongoing.
¯ An officer stopped a blue Ford Taurus June 22 bearing an Ohio license plate in the 500 block of Pike Street for no headlights. During the stop, the officer seized marijuana from the driver and passenger of the vehicle. Both subjects were issued a minor misdemeanor citation for drug abuse.
¯ A victim reported Thursday that a specialized bicycle had been stolen from a carrier on the back of his vehicle sometime on June 22 while he visited several places around downtown Marietta. He advised he did not notice the bicycle was gone until around 3:15 p.m. June 22.
¯ Units were dispatched Thursday to Bridgeport Equipment in regards to a theft. After the investigation, it was learned that a subject stole a Quaker Boy predator call on May 5 that was valued at $15.99.
¯ Units responded Thursday to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. After the investigation, it was learned that a suspect stole $77.45 worth of merchandise. A summons will be requested to the suspect for the theft.
¯ Units responded to 219 Hillcrest Drive Thursday after receiving a 911 call that sounded like an active domestic. Upon arrival, it was learned that resident Ivy Howard had assaulted a staff member. Howard was arrested for the assault and transported to the Washington County Jail.
¯ Another county’s sheriff’s office forwarded information and a case was initiated Friday in reference to a reported sex crime.
¯ An officer responded Friday to Walmart in reference to a woman shoplifter. It was found that Angela McElfresh had attempted to steal $89.38 worth of store merchandise. She was charged with theft and released on a personal recognizance bond.
¯ A patrolman was dispatched Friday to Shoe Department, 219 Captain D Seely Mia Drive in reference to a theft. Once on scene, it was learned that an unknown man had switched his old shoes out with a new pair and had left the store riding a red moped.
¯ An officer was flagged down Friday by Walmart loss prevention. Through an investigation, it was revealed that Trista Ann Oliver had not scanned nine items valued at $44.48 during self-checkout and left the last point of sale. The items were recovered and Oliver was arrested for theft. She was released on a personal recognizance bond for a later court date.
¯ An officer was dispatched Saturday to Walmart in reference to a theft of a phone charging flashlight valued at $39.97 that had occurred. Cecil William Slack was located and arrested for theft. He was transported to the Washington County Jail.
¯ A patrolman responded Sunday to Rite Aid, 301 Greene St., in reference to a theft. It was learned that a man had stolen a $67 bottle of cologne and fled from the store. A warrant is being requested.
¯ An officer was called Sunday to Walmart in reference to a woman having stolen $114 in items for a pool. She was identified and a charge is being filed.

¯ A deputy began an investigation June 19 into a breaking and entering in Fearing Township.
¯ A deputy began an investigation June 20 in Adams Township regarding a 1997 Ford F150 being reported stolen. The victim worked out the arrangements on his own.
¯ A deputy began an investigation June 21 into a possible prowler in Waterford Township.
¯ A deputy began an investigation June 22 into a stolen Jeep Wrangler from Belpre Township.
¯ A deputy was dispatched Thursday to Marietta Township regarding an incident at the Rigel Recovery Center. After completing the investigation it was determined that Timothy Wayne Staats of Belpre would be charged with disorderly conduct and transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

¯ Ashlee Dawn Martin, 31, of Vienna, was arrested for driving under suspension, contempt, failure to appear and expired plates, all misdemeanors.
¯ Edward Albert Minke, 55, of Newport, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
¯ Michael James Farnsworth, 33, of Paden City, W.Va., was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
¯ Timothy Wayne Staats, 59, of Belpre, was arrested for disorderly conduct and probation violation, both misdemeanors.
¯ Marie Lynn Powell, 28, of Marietta, was arrested for endangering children, and possession of drugs, both felonies.
¯ Steven David Starling, 48, of Belpre, was arrested for menacing by stalking, a felony.
¯ Ivy Michelle Howard, age 18, of Marietta, assault, a misdemeanor.
¯ Chad Alan Harra, 37, of Waterford, was arrested for OVI, obstructing official business and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors.
¯ Jerran Keith Knowlton, 42, of New Matamoras, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
¯ Clarence Michael Francis, 32, of Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
¯ Eric Joseph Bobb, 39, of Zanesville, was arrested for two counts of probation violation, both felonies.
¯ Richard Lee Cremeans III, 23, of Athens, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving under suspension, fictitious plates and tail light violation, all misdemeanors.
¯ Joseph Lee Williams, 63, of Fleming, was arrested for theft, a felony.
¯ Warren Calvin Ritchie, 66, of Reno, was arrested for assault, a misdemeanor.
¯ Cecil William Slack, 42, of Marietta, was arrested for theft, a misdemeanor.
¯ Joseph Adam McKitrick, 42, of Marietta, was arrested for aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.
¯ Isabella Tristen Leilani Vincent, 22, of Belpre, was arrested for a probation violation, a misdemeanor.
¯ Kristin Lynn McGuire, 48, of Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
¯ Tara Lynn Biles, 35, of Parkersburg, was arrested for contempt of court.
