Reports/Ohio State Highway Patrol
¯ Matthew Gage Lawson, 24, of 340 East Oak St., Davisville, W.Va., was traveling northbound June 28 on County Road 446 in Warren Township when his 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 veered off the right side of the road and overturned. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.
¯ Jason E. Williams, 16, of 7 Main St., Vincent, was westbound June 30 on Ohio 550 in Barlow Township. His 2004 Honda Civic went off the right side of the roadway and over an embankment before overturning. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.
¯ A driver in a red Dodge Grand Caravan fled the scene after a two-vehicle crash June 30 on County Road 10 in Warren Township. The Caravan and Christian David Erb, 49, of 2206 Grace St., St. Marys, W.Va., were southbound on County Road 10. Erb stopped his 2016 Isuzu, owned by Federal Express Corp., for the stop sign and the Caravan failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead, striking Erb's vehicle. The Caravan then fled the scene after the crash.
¯ Michael Devan Stoffel, 27, of 110 Oakview Drive Apt. A, Marietta, was southbound July 1 on Ohio 7 in Warren Township when his 2011 Hyundai Sonata veered off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. He then re-entered the roadway, veered off the right side of the road and struck the guardrail again. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.
¯ Cheryll J. Harra, 69, of 5682 Anderson Road, Watertown, was westbound Tuesday on Ohio 676 in Watertown Township. She failed to negotiate a curve in her 2019 Chevrolet Traverse, and drove off the right side of the roadway, striking a mailbox and ditch. She was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.
Arrests/Washington County
The following individuals were recently processed into the Washington County Jail:
¯ Jerry Edward Justis, 31, of Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
¯ Adam Joseph Hadley, 33, of Belpre, was arrested for two counts of contempt of court, both felonies.
¯ Richard Lloyd Eldon Anderson Jr., 42, address unknown, was arrested for fictitious plates and driving under suspension, both misdemeanors.
¯ George Edward McAtee Jr., 47, of Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
¯ Taylor Jaymz Sandy, 18, of Marietta, was arrested for two counts of driving under suspension, and no seatbelt, all misdemeanors.
