¯ A deputy began an investigation July 1 into identity fraud in Warren Township.
¯ A deputy began an investigation July 2 in Adams Township in reference to a domestic incident. The investigation revealed this to be unfounded.
¯ A deputy filed charges July 3 of fugitive from justice on Charles Raymond Cody Miller, 26, of 910 Caywood Road, Marietta. Miller was a Washington County Jail inmate and a Wood County warrant was received charging Miller with grand larceny in Wood County.
¯ A deputy began an investigation July 4 into a theft that occurred in Newport Township. Stolen were kayaks, sporting equipment and home furnishings.
¯ A lieutenant began an investigation July 4 in Marietta Township in reference to outbuildings being entered and items taken.
¯ Deputies completed a traffic crash report July 4 of a one-vehicle crash on Ohio 260.
¯ A deputy began an investigation July 5 into identity fraud in Barlow Township, possibly occurring in Arkansas.
¯ A deputy took a dog bite report July 5 where a dog at the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley had bitten an individual at the shelter.
¯ A deputy began an investigation Wednesday into a theft of firearms and tools stolen from a locked truck at a business on Ohio 7, Warren Township.
¯ A deputy requested a summons be issued Thursday to Jessica Lynn Stevens of 723 Eighth St., Marietta, for failing to restrain her dog. Stevens' dog had left her property and attempted to attack a neighbor dog on Wednesday.
¯ A deputy began an investigation Thursday in Belpre Township where a Jeep Patriot was stolen.
¯ A deputy began an investigation Thursday into a theft and breaking and entering in Adams Township of two vehicle wheels.
¯ Deputies were attempting an arrest Thursday on Dustin Michael Fulton, a wanted subject believed to be located in Fairfield Township. Deputies were allowed into the home and advised that Fulton was in the home, however Fulton advised to tell officers he was not there.
Fulton was asked by a deputy to come downstairs, however a few minutes went by with him remaining upstairs. The deputy observed Fulton wrapped in a blanket and he was advised to remove the blanket and that he was being arrested.
Fulton ran from deputies and exited the residence, running across the property and through numerous fields at the rear of the property. Fulton eventually stopped running with him being placed under arrest. Medical attention was given to Fulton.
While patting down Fulton, drug paraphernalia was located in his pockets. He stated the items were for use with fentanyl, however he had no fentanyl at the time. Fulton, 25, of 4828 Cooper Road, Athens, was placed under arrest and charged with resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Taylor Jaymz Sandy, 18, of Marietta, was arrested for driving under suspension, no seatbelt, and DUS Violator Compact, all misdemeanors.
¯ Donald Edward Eakin III, 48, of Belpre, was arrested for improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a felony, OVI, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, and improper lane usage, all misdemeanors.
¯ Ethan Adam Ross, 21, of Lowell, was arrested for possession of drugs/marijuana, a misdemeanor.
¯ James Howard Ware, 42, of Parkersburg, was arrested for aggravated possession of fentanyl and possession of drugs, both felonies.
¯ Timothy James Moore, 32, of Lowell, was arrested for probation violation, OVI, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving under OVI suspension and traffic signal violation, all misdemeanors.
¯ Dustin Bradley Whipkey, 38, of Lowell, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor.
¯ Mason Riley Moyer, 25, of Parkersburg, was arrested for receiving stolen property, a felony.
¯ Nevin Anthony Clark, 34, of Lowell, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
¯ Ashlee Nicole Haught, 30, of Marietta, was arrested for aggravated possession of drugs, a felony.
¯ Tavaris Kquintez Williams, 33, of Conley, Ga., was arrested for theft, a felony.
¯ Derek Eugene Boice, 35, of Marietta, was arrested for theft, criminal trespass, breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors.
¯ Anthony Michael Douglas, 37, of Parkersburg, was arrested for parole violation, a felony.
¯ Kevin Anthony Morris, 38, of Vincent, was arrested for two counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor- create/produce material, both felonies.
¯ Alec Lee Davis, 24, of Marietta, was arrested for assault of a peace officer, a felony, criminal trespass and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.
¯ Levi James Robinson, 32, of Marietta, was arrested for parole violation, a felony.
¯ Fawn Renee Miller, 44, of Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
¯ Dustin Michael Fulton, 25, homeless, was arrested for resisting arrest and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, and possession of drugs, a felony.
¯ Mark Everett Swaney, 55, homeless, was arrested for breach of recognizance, a felony.
¯ Deane Allen Beck Jr., 42, of Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a felony.
¯ Dustin Zachary Cunningham, 27, of Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
¯ Bernard Alexander Cline Jr., 61, of Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
