¯ Olivia M. Moretto, 20, of 110 Maple St., Newport, was driving a 2013 Chevy Sonic SUV southbound on Newport Township Road 1092 when she made a left turn onto Township Road 1403, drove off the right side of the road, struck a road sign at the side of the intersection and overturned back onto the roadway. She was charged with failure to be in reasonable control of a vehicle.

¯ Sandra Britani Merritt, 36, of 45 Fair Ave., Beverly, was southbound on Ohio 60 in Muskingum Township in a 2014 Chevy Equinox passenger van owned by Brad E. Merritt, same address. She stopped for other traffic and was struck by a 2014 Chevy Impala driven by Reagon Nicole Baker, no age listed, of 2539 Wells Rd., Waterford. Baker was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
