Dec. 9:

Police were dispatched to a residence on Glendale Road Extension to assist the emergency squad with a 22-year-old male who had collapsed. The subject subsequently died at the hospital. An autopsy was done and foul play is not suspected, but the investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 10:

≤ Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Greene Street about Hillire Dalton causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, units made contact with Dalton and it was learned he had made threats of harm to the victim at the residence. Dalton, 52, was arrested and taken to jail, where he was incarcerated for aggravated menacing.

≤ Police were dispatched to assist Marietta EMS at a Front Street residence. Upon arrival, it was learned that a 60-year-old female was found dead at her home after she failed to show up at work. Police conducted a death investigation and no foul play is suspected. The coroner and next of kin were notified.
