The Marietta Police Department recently released the following reports:

Aug. 27

*Michael Glen Jarvis, 33, was found highly intoxicated and unconscious in the grass area of the Peoples Bank. He was transported to the Marietta Memorial Hospital and cited for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

Aug. 29

*Officers responded to speak to an individual about her husband. Upon arrival, officers found the individual and her husband had been separated for over a year. The individual stated her husband came to her house and entered through a window around 5:30 p.m.

Aug. 31

*Delbert John Brun, 29, was issued a summons for theft after he allegedly tried to push a cart with $438 in unpaid items out the door of Walmart at 804 Pike St.

Sept. 2

*Officers responded to 400 Seventh St. in reference to a misconduct complaint. After investigation, it was determined to be unfounded.

*Officers attempted to stop a four-wheeler that was operating on a city owned sidewalk near the intersection of Warren Street and Fifth Street. This four-wheeler fled northbound and disappeared from view between houses. The area was checked and the four-wheeler was located hidden between 711 and 713 Fifth St. The suspect had fled the area on foot. A description was given out to other responding units and the area was checked. A possible suspect arrived on scene a short time later claiming to be the owner of the four-wheeler, but without proof of ownership and also denied being the operator.
