Oak Grove Fire and EMS ice cream social The Oak Grove Fire and EMS will be holding its annual ice cream social from 4-9 p.m. Saturday at the fire station, 102 Oak Grove Lane, Marietta. Guests can look forward to barbecue chicken dinners, hot dogs, sloppy joes, pizza, ice cream and desserts. Morrisey tours storm damage in Pleasants County

ST. MARYS — Gov. Patrick Morrisey Saturday surveyed storm damage in Pleasants County where recovery efforts continued. Morrisey visited Wright’s Riverside Marine near St. Marys where Pleasants County Commissioner Mike Smith showed him damaged homes, campers, utility poles and other property. “It’s really always important to get a personal view of what’s going on, to see how the communities are affected from tragedy,” Morrisey said.
