BELPRE - The Belpre America 250 Kickoff Celebration will be rescheduled from Saturday to Monday, July 6 due to inclement weather this weekend. The rescheduled event will take place from 5-8 p.m. at Howes Grove Park in Belpre. Guests can enjoy hot dogs, desserts, refreshments and chips during the picnic. The picnic is served and provided by the Belpre Area Veterans and members of Boys Scouts. The number of people experiencing homelessness in Ohio in 2025 increased more than 3%, according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. There were 12,196 people experiencing homelessness in Ohio last year, according to HUD’s annual Homelessness Assessment Report.
