Church to host grief support seminars

St. Paul’s Evangelical Church will present 13 weeks of grief support seminars beginning Tuesday morning, Aug. 7, through Oct. 30, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., in the parish hall (social room), 401 Fifth St., Marietta.

The materials specifically address topics and issues for those who are grieving the death of a loved one.

The content is Christ-centered, biblical, and non-denominational. It is presented three-phased: Video, group discussion and personal workbook.

GriefShare support can be an especially effective outreach for the grieving person.

Through GriefShare materials, grieving people will be gently presented with the hope, comfort, and healing that comes from God through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

The program is being facilitated by staff knowledgeable of the materials presented, have experienced grief themselves, and wish to reach out offering comfort, answers, and hope through the GriefShare ministry to those who are walking the journey of grief.

Pre-registration is suggested, however an “open” policy is honored. Participation can be at any time during the 13 weeks.

Competent childcare is provided.
