Awana program at Twin Rivers Baptist Church

The Awana program for 2018-19 at Twin Rivers Baptist Church, 110 D.A.V. Road, Whipple, began Wednesday, Sept. 19, and will continue throughout the school year, ending in May.

The opening session for this year’s Awana program will feature special activities, including inflatables, games and pizza.

The program for boys and girls will continue each Wednesday through May, with sessions to be held from 7 to 8:20 each week. There are classes for children from 3 years of age through teens.

“Cubbies” is for preschoolers, ages 3 to 5 years old; “Sparks” is for children from kindergarten through the second grade; and “Truth & Training” is for students in third through sixth grades. Each week’s session includes lesson time, Bible verse memorization, snacks and games.

New programs this year for the teens will be TREK, for students in seventh and eighth grades; and Journey, for students in ninth through 12th grades.

Twin Rivers Baptist Church is on D.A.V. Road, off Ohio 821, and is located just 300 yards north of Exit 6 off Interstate 77. A bus route is available to pick up boys and girls for the Awana program.
