Arthur M. Isner, 79, of Marietta passed away at 3:10 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at The Arbors of Marietta.
He was born Feb. 2, 1936, in Belpre, a son of Robert Blaine Isner and Letitia Knox Isner.
Arthur was self-employed as a truck driver, was a veteran of U.S. Air Force and later a member of U. S. Army Reserves. He was a member of NRA and a former member of the Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.
On Feb. 28, 1965, he married Pearl Lutoff, who survives with three sons and one daughter, Brian (Laura) Isner, Scott (Faith) Maley, Teresa (fiance Matt) Isner, Gene Isner all of Marietta; four grandchildren, Stephanie Dann, B. J. Isner, Neal Anthony Maley and Benjamin Maley; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother and two sisters, Betty Mugrage, Lawrence Isner and Charlene Starkey; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, with Pastor Terry Schmelzenbach officiating. Interment will be in East Lawn Memorial Park, with full military honors. The family will greet friends at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Friday.
