Lora Christine Sloter Moore

Lora Christine Sloter Moore, age 43, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on November 11, 2020 at her home in Columbus following a seven year battle with lnflammatory Breast Cancer.

Lora was born in Marietta, Ohio to Larry Sloter and Christina Sloter on December 26, 1976. She was a 1995 graduate of Marietta High School and received her Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from The Ohio State University. She was a long time employee of Big Lots Corporation working as a buyer and allocator.

Lora married Andrew Moore on October 7, 2006 in Marietta, Ohio. Together they had three sons, Berkley, 13, Max, 11, and Hudson, 7. They were the pride and joy of her life.

Lora was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Thomas and Eleanor McCurdy and her paternal grandparents, Clifford and Shirley Sloter.

Lora is survived by her husband, Andy Moore, and her three beloved sons. She is also survived by her brother, Scott Sloter and her sister Kate (Dustin) Maxon of Marietta. She is also survived by her father, Larry (Kelly) Sloter and Christina Sloter, all of Marietta.

Funeral Services will be held at Mooreland Funeral Home, 55E Schrock Rd., Westerville, Ohio 43081 on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Family will be available to receive visitors from 1:00-3:00 pm following a small family service at 12:30.

Memorial donations can be made in Lora’s name to the Stephanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center in Columbus, Ohio.
