Thomas “Tom” Urich

Urich

Thomas “Tom” Urich, veteran of stage, screen, and the USAF, was born in West Virginia, raised in Ohio, and a true citizen of the world. Tom lived a life of love, generosity, and service. He attended The Ohio State before enlisting, served during the Korean conflict where he discovered a love of acting, and honed his performance skills at the Cincinnati Conservatory where he won the role of co-star for life to his beloved wife Judith McCauley of Marietta, OH.

A career on and off-Broadway, as well as, in numerous commercials and television shows brought adventure and a good life to his family. Some of his favorite roles were Georges in La Cage Aux Folles on Broadway, Harold Hill in The Music Man, proud father to his sons, devoted Dzedo to his grandsons, active volunteer, Commander of the American Legion Hollywood Post 43, lector at his church, Buckeyes and Mets fan, devourer of crime novels, and steadfast crossword puzzler.

His extraordinary life will be celebrated in Los Angeles on Friday, August 12th, 2022.
