Linda Lee Ritter

Linda Lee Ritter, 80, of Marietta, formerly of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at her home.

Linda was born May 25, 1943, in Muskegon to Clarence Rudolph and Aline Belle {Hendrick} Gay.

She graduated from Muskegon High School and Western Michigan University.

She married Raymond Ralph Ritter Jr. on September 8, 1961.

Linda was a teacher for Montague Schools before becoming a sales rep for Varsity Sport Fashions. Linda and Ray were longtime members of the Grosse Pointe Congregational Church in Michigan. She was president of the Michigan Cheerleaders Coaches Association.

Linda will be deeply missed by her husband Ray Ritter; son Kevin (Khadine) Ritter; grandchildren Liam and Anna Ritter; sister Pennie Kampenga and brother Barry (Sue) Gray.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 13 at 3 PM at Freedom Gate Church, 104 Tennis Center Dr., Marietta, OH 45750 with Pastor Rodney Lord officiating. The family will greet friends from 2 PM until the time of the service. Following the service, light refreshments will be served at the church.
