Carla Jean Farmer

Carla Jean Farmer, 67, of Stockport, Ohio, died on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 28, 1956 in Marietta, Ohio, daughter of Richard Landaker and Betty Sampson Landaker. She had been a factory worker for several years and held several jobs in the area for many years. Carla graduated from Waterford High School and the Washington County Career Center in 1975 and was a member of the American legion Auxiliary Post 389 in Beverly, Women of the Moose in Lowell and the SEO Sinners and Saints. On March 20, 1999 she was married to Mitch Farmer who survives. Also surviving are two children, Jennifer Dille (Curtis) of Stockport and Nathaniel Elder of Lowell; her mother, Betty Landaker of Waterford; two grandchildren, Curtis Dille and Dylan Elder; three great grandchildren, Lilly, Oliver and Rachael; two sisters, Yvonne Schrader (Bill) of Belpre and Martha Nutter (Rob) of Waterford; three brothers, Doug Landaker (Debbie) of Dale, Carl Landaker of Waterford and Aric Landaker of Beverly; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Landaker.
