Janet Wells

Janet W. Wells, 87, Friendly, WV, Arvilla Community, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Middlebourne, WV, on January 22, 1936, she was daughter of the late Glen and Lena Waters. She was President and CEO of Sistersville Tank Works and Wells Cattle Farms. She was a member of Sistersville Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star, St. Marys.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Allen) Morgan, Friendly, WV; son, Dr. Marvin L. Wells, Friendly; two grandsons, Jason A. (Skyler) Morgan, and Zachary T. (Kali) Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Bransen and Bristol Morgan; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Susan Whitlock. All of whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 53 years, Marvin “Buck” Wells in 2008; her second husband, Donald Chambers in 2013; sisters, Mildred Carroll, Eloise Bailey, Rugene Kuehne, and Imogene Kuehne; and brother, Jerry Waters.

Services will be held Monday, December 18, 2023, at 2:00 P. M. at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with Don Rush and Bill Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in Wasp Cemetery, Arvilla, WV.
