Deborah Ann Boyce, 70, a resident of Tavares, Florida, died peacefully on December 5th following a lengthy illness. Her husband, Edward Boyce, was at her side when she passed.
Born to Robert and Rita McCracken on August 22nd in Youngstown, OH in 1953, Mrs. Boyce graduated from Canfield High School in 1972. Early in her life she lived in the Boardman area, spent a decade in Marietta, and then moved to Canada to start a business at the end of her career. After successfully running a store, campground, and fishing camp on Rice Lake, she spent some time back in Canfield, before retiring to Tavares.
Deb enjoyed many blessings in life. She especially had a great love for her children and grandchildren. She appreciated spending a lot of time hunting, fishing, cruising on her boat, and shopping. She also delighted in helping and volunteering at her church in Tavares.
Known as Deb, she was the life of the party, had a magnetic and dynamic personality, strong opinions about everything, a love of Labrador Retrievers, and a way to keep everyone laughing.
In addition to her husband Edward Boyce, also remaining to mourn her loss are her daughter Amber (B.J.) Mauser, son Chad (Lisa) Hughes, son Joshua (Ashley) Hughes, and grandchildren Isaiah Mauser, Irelynn Hughes, Levi Mauser, Justus Mauser, MacKenzie Hughes, Corban Mauser, Aletheia Mauser, and Weston Hughes. Also remaining are her brother, Robert (MaryBeth) McCracken; and her sister, Lynn (Leon) Kline.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23 at St. Philip Lutheran Church in Mt. Dora, FL to celebrate her life and going to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
