Sheila Ann Hutton

Sheila Ann Hutton, 72, of Vienna, formerly of Marietta, passed away at 2:00pm, Thursday, May 23, 2024.

She was born on May 22, 1952, in Marietta to David Gaskins and Carol Young Gaskins. Sheila retired from Marietta Memorial Hospital in the Pharmacy Department. She enjoyed music and dancing, crossword puzzles and loved the ocean and collecting sea shells.

On September 18, 1968, she married Ralph “Buck” Sutton who preceded her in death on August 2, 2004. Sheila is survived by her daughter Debbie (“Tom”) Allen of Portland OH and son Scott (Lorna) Hutton of Parkersburg, 2 grandsons, L. J. (Tammy) Loone, Steven (Misty) Loone; 4 great grandchildren: Ayden Wylie, Aiden John, Lily and Blakely; her sister Linda Grimm, brother Mark Gaskin and her significant other Larry Lee of Vienna.

She was preceded in death by husband and his parents, Ralph and Gladys Hutton, her parents, 3 brothers, Robert, Danny and Philip and sister-in-law Edith.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday (May 29) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Raymond Meleke officiating. Burial will follow in Letart Falls Cemetery. Family will greet friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 and one hour before the service.
