Eva Jean Wulfert

Eva Jean Wulfert, 90, of Marietta, OH, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at her residence. She was born December 17, 1933, in Parkersburg, WV, to the late Roy and Laura Lemon Alexander. Jean worked for the Airolite Company in Marietta, retiring after 41 years of service. She was a member of the American Legion Post #64 Ladies Aux.as well as the V.F.W. Post #5108 Ladies Aux., a life member of the B.P.O. Elks #477, a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine and loved boating, golfing and traveling. Jean is survived by her husband of 68 years George W. Wulfert, nephew “AKA” another son Jerry Alexander, daughter-in-law Cynthia Wulfert, grandsons Cassidy McPherson and Alex Wulfert, great granddaughter Kiara, great grandsons Case and Kaleb and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia Wulfert Hughes, son Vernon (Buddy) Wulfert, granddaughter Tiffany McPherson, brothers Bernard and Dean Alexander and sister Dorothy Ingraham. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta, OH, entombment to follow in East Lawn Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday June 14, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the V.F.W.
