Freddy E. "Fred" Cline, 72, Marietta, OH, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Born in Marietta, OH, on September 25, 1951, he was the son of the late Frederick and Lois Harris Cline. He was a 1969 graduate of Frontier High School and was a member of Parr Hill Community Church. Fred attended Salem College and was in the National Guard. He was an avid coin and antique collector. He enjoyed NASCAR and fishing.
He is survived by his sister, Cathy Smith; one brother, Steven (Melissa) Cline; one niece, Whitney (Josh) Green; one nephew, Kyle Cline; great nephews, Cameron, Caydon, and Rylan; and a special niece, Nichole Cline. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, Dana Smith.
Service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV, with Pastor David Beaver officiating. Burial will follow in Newport Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.
