Alfreda June Cooper Huck, 91, of Marietta, OH., passed away Monday evening August 5, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born January 17, 1933 in Washington County, OH., to the late John and Martha Anna Dalrymple Cooper. Alfreda graduated from Marietta High School and married Martin Huck in October 1956 after 40 years of marriage he preceded her in death in January of 1990. She was a homemaker and enjoyed and loved her family and spending time on holidays and special occasions with them. Alfreda is survived by her long time companion Paul Rauch, granddaughters Amanda Huck (Clint) of New Concord OH., Andrea McGowan (Chris) of Fredericksburg VA., and Amariah Hughes (Matthew) of Columbus OH., great grandchildren Cameron, Colin and Olivia McGowan and Adalynn Myers and a very special niece Linda Gonya of Lancaster OH., and numerous other nieces and nephews. Her family loved their aunt and she was a very good listener to all and will be deeply missed by all her family. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sons Gary Wayne and Jeffrey Martin Huck, 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday, 12:00 PM August 9, 2024 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike Street, Marietta, OH., with burial to follow in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Lowell, OH.
