Dale Allen Gillis 78, of Fleming, OH, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 30, 1945, in Akron, OH, to the late Paul and Margaret Loman Gillis. Dale retired from Kardex after 34-plus years and enjoyed going to auctions. He is survived by his wife Diane Williams Gillis, sons David Gillis (Sammi VanHoose), Dale Gillis Jr. (Dolores) and Sam Hall, daughters Karen Arbaugh (Doug) and Amy Owens (Cody), 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sister Margie Gesch, brother Bud Oblisk and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 infant children, a son-in-law Jay Taylor, brothers Arthur and Jerry Oblisk, Norman, Carl and William Gillis.
