Diana Sue Strahler, age 75, died Friday, August 16, 2024. She was born February 8, 1949, in Marietta, Ohio to the late Bernard and Peggy Cleveland. Diana is survived by her two sons, Kyle (Jenny) Strahler and Keith (Cindy) Strahler; grandchildren, Isabella, Rex, Lyla, and Kaitlyn Strahler; siblings, Patty Cleveland, Charles Cleveland, and Bernard Cleveland. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Strahler; her parents; her brother, Donnie Cleveland.
Diana was a 1967 graduate of Marietta High School where she was active in the school's marching band. After high school, she would attend Grant Hospital School of Nursing where she would graduate from in 1970. Diana would marry the love of her life, Ronald, on July 4, 1970. She was a registered nurse for over 50 years working at hospitals and offices in Ohio, Georgia, and South Carolina. She was an active member of the Grant Hospital Alumni Association, she was an avid sports fan, reader, and a proud supporter of her grandchildren, attending their numerous activities and events. Diana loved spending time with her family, dog Shadow. She loved listening to music, especially Jimmy Buffet, shopping, and vacationing.
Friends and family may visit from 12:00-2:30pm on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home 550 Hill Road North, Pickerington, OH 43147. Following the visitation, a funeral mass will take place at 3:00pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Church 600 Hill Road North, Pickerington, OH 43147. Interment will take place at Field of Honor Cemetery in Canal Winchester, OH 43110. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Diana's name to FairHope Hospice & Palliative Care Home of the Pickering House 282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130.
