Jack L. Waldron

Jack L. Waldron, 91, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 20, 1932, in Wellston, Ohio, son of Sarah Bayes Waldron Barnett. Jack had been a supervisor at Dulles International Airport for AMF for many years, retiring in April of 1997. He graduated from Wellston High School in 1950 and served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict 1952-1956. While in the Air Force he flew many missions on a B-29 Bomber taking pictures on Reconnaissance flights. He was a member of the American Legion Post #389 in Beverly, VFW Post #5108 in Marietta, Marietta Moose Lodge #1823 in Marietta, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3665 in Beverly and the Marietta Elks Club #477 in Marietta. On October 31, 1959, Jack was married to Martha Ann Derby Waldron who survives. Also surviving is a sister, Kathi Irene Mountjoy (David) of Hamden, Ohio; daughter in law, Michelle Waldron of Hampstead, NH; two grandsons, Jack Thomas Waldron and Patrick Andrew Waldron of Hampstead, NH; a sister in law, Ruth Skinner (Lee) of Lowell, Ohio; and several other brothers and sisters in law. Jack was preceded in death by his mother; stepfather, Luther Barnett; two sons, Chris Waldron and Jack J. Waldron; an infant daughter, Jacquline Waldron and two brothers and a sister.

A graveside Military service by Russell Chadwick American Legion Post #389 will be held at a later date at St. Bernard Cemetery in Beverly. Services will be announced.
