Colt Christopher Wynn, 39, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Summit Acres in Caldwell, OH, following a lengthy illness. Colt was born May 23, 1985 in Marietta, OH, to Richard Wynn and Cynthia Gunnoe Wallace. He attended Waterford Elementary School K through eight and was a 2003 graduate from Warren High School. Colt’s active lifestyle continued following an accident in 1999. He was an accomplished athlete participating in multiple adaptive sports and activities. His main passion being wheelchair body building. Colt’s most recent achievement was having the honor of volunteering at Marietta Memorial Hospital with their pastoral care team. During COVID, Colt helped lead Bible studies for his fellow residents at Summit Acres. He is survived by his parents Richard Wynn (Tracey) and Cynthia Wallace, brothers Adam Wynn (Desaree) and Easton Wynn (Courtney), sisters Morgan Bullock (Cole) and Taylor Casto (Terry), nieces McKenna and Jozelyn Wynn and grandfather Sam Wynn. Colt was preceded in death by a brother Samuel Ryan Wynn, grandparents Eulah Cox, Nancy Wynn, John E. and Joyce Sanders Gunnoe. We wish to thank the wonderful staff at Summit Acres, who became like an extended family for Colt. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St. Marietta, OH, 45750. Cremation will be observed with a private family service at Tunnel Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Summit Acres, 44565 Sunset Rd., Caldwell, OH, 43724.
