Eugene Lee Hartshorn, 71, Newport, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Born in Marietta, Ohio, on October 28, 1952, he was the son of the late Raleigh Hartshorn and Mary Bush. Eugene had a love for his family, farming and drinking a few beers.
He is survived by his life companion, Becky Wagner; daughter, Rachel Eddy; two sons, Samuel Hartshorn and Joseph Hartshorn; seven grandchildren, Osten Hartshorn, Jacob Hasley, Hannah Hartshorn, Ethan Hartshorn, Luke Hartshorn, Logan Hartshorn, and Abraham Hartshorn; one great-grandchild, Remy Hasley; one sister, Mary Ann Lamkin; and extended family, Eric and James Wagner and families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Marlene Dye.
