Jimmie Ray Brookover, 83, of Lowell, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at his home.
Jimmie was born December 18, 1940, in Williamstown, West Virginia, to Luther and Lola Brookover.
He attended Williamstown High School. Jimmie retired from Fenton Glass.
He loved to fish and tinker on motors.
Jimmie will be deeply missed by his daughter Jill Brookover, sons Jimmy Brookover (Susan) and Jason Waterman (Jami Seagle); grandchildren Carley, Jaden, Liam, Kinley, Tayshawn (Hippie), Joshua (Aryn), Shawna (Brian) and Stephanie (Bill); 17 great-grandchildren; brother Warren Brookover.
In addition to his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by his brothers Tom and Garland; sister Ellen and his granddaughter Heather.
Friends may call Thursday, October 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
