Margie Sue Phillips, age 77, passed away on September 15, 2024. Born on November 9, 1946, Margie was a retired RN with Marietta Memorial Hospital with a love for gardening. She made everyone feel special and people loved being near her. Margie is preceded in death by her parents Dolly and Alvin Mooney, husband Laurence Phillips, and son Mark Phillips. She is survived by her son Michael Phillips, daughter Laura (Bobby) Latham, grandchildren Quinton Phillips, Josh (Brittany) Phillips, Travis (Torie) Deuley, and Marisa (James) Kendrick, great-grandson Oliver, brother Steve (Sharon) Mooney, sister Carolyn (Kenny) McComas, as well as several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
