Michelle Lynn Raybould, 55, of Marietta, OH, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Marietta to Paul D. and Christine L. Duncan Cook. Michelle worked at Big Bear and Walmart for many years and enjoyed playing video games and Legos. She also looked forward to vacation each summer, particularly to Vero Beach, Florida to enjoy the ocean and visit her father, and also to Leesburg, Florida to visit her in-laws. She enjoyed the occasional day or afternoon trip to visit Columbus, Charleston, Wheeling, or even Parkersburg and Vienna to shop and dine at stores and restaurants different from the local area. When her boys were younger, she was actively involved in their school activities and she occasionally volunteered at the schools for field trips and other functions. She is survived by her husband Edward “Ned” Raybould whom she married June 18, 2011 in Marietta, sons Matthew “Matt” Bolen (Laura Wagner) and Christopher Cook, sister Tiffany Cook, her mother and uncle Joe Duncan all of Marietta, mother-in-law Sallie Raybould and brother-in-law Matthew “Matt” Raybould both of Leesburg, FL. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her father-in-law Lance Raybould. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and other staff at the Memorial Health System, but particularly Dr. Shinn, Dr. Ahmad, Dr. Bahti, and Dr. Cawley, Amy Eddy, and others at the Strecker Cancer Center in Belpre. They provided Michelle with the best possible care. The family would also like to thank the staff at the Arbor’s of Marietta, and her team at Cawley Hospice and in particular, Caleigh, her hospice nurse for her compassionate care. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, October 31st at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike Street, Marietta, OH, 45750.
