Hoyt W. Pinkerton, 81, of Amesville, passed away, Sun., Nov. 10, 2024, at Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Beverly. He was born Nov. 15, 1942, to the late William and Ester (Davis) Pinkerton in Amesville, OH. He served in the Army, and was a Bern Township Trustee. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol (Anhalt) Pinkerton of the home; son, David (Elizabeth Sheppard) Pinkerton of Barlow; daughter, Susan Marshall of Athens; brother, Morris (Becky) Pinkerton of Little Hocking, grandchildren, Tyler, Christian and Caleb, and one great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, and son-in-law, Brandon Marshall. Visitation will be Thurs.
