Marjorie Lou (Earley) Butler, 88, of New Matamoras, Ohio, left this earth to her Heavenly home on Nov. 6th, 2024.
Marjorie was born Nov. 3, 1936, the daughter of late Harold and Jesse (Alloway) Earley. Marjorie met and then married her soul mate Dale E. Butler on Feb.19,1955. They are the parents of 3 children: Marjorie Hartline (Nelson), Celeste Jackson (Jeff), and Greg Butler (Kim) all of New Matamoras, Ohio. She is also the grandmother of 9 grandchildren: Nelson (Mandi) and Zachary (Megan) Hartline, Ashley (Bobby) Jackson, Shawn (Michael) Jackson and Brittney (Bryan) Kennedy, Misty Valentine (John), Gregory Butler (Andrea), Jacob Butler (Destiny) and William Butler (Tabitha) and great-grandmother of 9 with number 10 on the way: Espn and Ethan Hartline, Christian Haislip, baby Kennedy, Cooper and Nadalie Valentine, Hunter, Holden, Kyzer and Stetson Butler.
She is also survived by her sister Twila Griffin and brothers Roger, Dave (Sandi), John (Sharon) and Jimmie Earley and sister- in-laws Rita Earley and Ethel Weekley, Brother- in-law Thomas Weekley.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, brothers Floyd, Harold, Paul, and Richard Earley and sisters Ethel Hubbard, Mary Fox, Ruby Best, Phyliss McCormick, Beaulah Apperson, and Norma Buegel.
Marjorie wore many hats in her lifetime, wife, mother, homemaker, friend, confidant and counselor. She was also a member of Harmony Hill Baptist Church.
She was beloved by her family, her extended family, nieces, nephews and friends.
The greatest accomplishments of her heart were her children and grandchildren. She loved each and every one of them deeply and was so proud and grateful for all of them. She will be deeply missed, mourned greatly and never forgotten. Her legacy will live on through all the lives she touched and loved in her lifetime.

Visitation will be held today, 4 to 8 PM at the Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, located at 1021 Pike Street, Marietta, OH 45750
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9th at the Harmony Hill Baptist Church located at 41051 Trail Run Road, New Matamoras, Ohio 45767 at 11 AM with Pastor Matt Gresham officiating. Burial will follow in the Matamoras Cemetery.
