Thomas (Tom) P. Cochran, 70, of New Matamoras, Ohio, passed away on November 19, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born October 17, 1954, to Harold E. (Pud) and Ila June (Haught) Cochran.
Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years Lynette (Whitacre) Cochran, his sister Corlie Sue Moore (Jim) of New Matamoras, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold (Pud) and June Cochran and sister-in-law, Cathy Jean Ring, his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Tom enjoyed raising and training hunting dogs, a passion that brought him immense pride. He was a dedicated employee for several businesses. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and hard work will live on in all that knew him.
In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held. His family asks that those who knew him take a moment to honor his memory by enjoying a quiet moment outdoors or engaging in a heartfelt conversation.
A private cremation will take place at Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society.
