Paul (Sonny) Burris Spindler Jr., 60, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away in his home on Monday, November 11, 2024. He was born October 28, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, and grew up in Vincent, Ohio, graduating from Warren High School in 1984, excelling in culinary arts at the vocational school. He was funny, friendly, and spirited, never missing an opportunity to lighten the mood and make you smile. He spent most of his career as a personal caregiver and enjoyed cooking and bowling with friends.
Sonny is survived by his partner of 24 years James "Butch" Casto, and loving daughter, Elizabeth Spindler. Sonny was preceded in death by his father, Paul Burris Spindler Sr. His mother, Wanda June Spindler, will miss the joy her son brought into her life. Sonny's brothers, Phillip Spindler (Kristy) and David Spindler (Shelia) will remember him as the brother who always had a smile to share and a joke ready. Sonny's life was a beautiful journey that enriched the tapestry of our world, and he will be deeply missed.
