Deborah Haught Travis, 68, of Lower Salem, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

Debbie was born January 14, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Gerald and Wilma Ward.

She graduated from Marietta High School class of 1974

She married Neal Travis on October 5, 2024.

Debbie retired from MIE to take care of her mother. Debbie loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and hanging out with family and friends.

Debbie will be deeply missed by her husband Neal Travis; daughter Crystal (Matt) Williams; stepsons Rodney (Hannah) Travis and Brandon (Ashley) Travis; grandchildren Allison Binegar, Kaylee, Keith and Christopher Hamrick, Chase Williams, Brody Wooten, Easton Bartlett, Liam O’Connell June Butler, Sophia, Skylar, Ryder, Coleson and Kennedi Travis; great grandson Gannon Hamrick; her mother Wilma Ward; brother Rocky (Amanda) Fordyce and special friend Jerry Oliver.

Debbie was preceded in death by her first husband Gary Lauer, second husband Bob Haught; daughter Lana Lauer-Binegar; sister Lynn Harris; father Gerald Ward.

Friends may call Wednesday, January 15th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
