Doris Jean Rowe, 93, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025. She was born December 24th, 1931, in Marietta, the daughter of Malcolm and Hazel Phillips. Doris was a member of Gilman United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, David and his wife Terry of Dublin, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Jesse Rowe (Ashely), Amie Rowe (Thomas), and Geoffrey Rowe (Kelsey).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David; daughter, Connie; grandsons, Matthew and Nathan; two sisters, Lillian and Dorothy; and three brothers, Lewis, Fred, and Ray.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at the MARIETTA CHAPEL OF CAWLEY & PEOPLES FUNERAL HOME, with entombment at East Lawn Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to Gilman United Methodist Church, 312 Gilman St., Marietta, Ohio, in her honor.
