Frank H. Stevens Sr., 86, of New Matamoras, OH, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Tiffin, OH. He was born on August 24, 1938, in Harriettsville, OH, to the late Carl Thomas and Edith Carrie Bonar Stevens.
Frank graduated from Elk Local School in 1956 and served in the U.S. Army. He later retired as a First Sergeant with the Ohio Army National Guard Reserve, 2-174 ADA in Marietta. Additionally, he worked as a truck driver with the Teamsters Local for 30 years, primarily driving for Matlack. Frank was a member of Parr Hill Church.
He is survived by his sons: Ronnie Dean Stevens of New Martinsville, WV; Donnie Eugene Stevens (Sandy) of Chesterhill, OH; Frank H. Stevens Jr. (Lorraine) of Ashville, OH; and John Phillip Stevens (Lora) of Beckley, WV. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Marie Sayger Stevens; two brothers; two sisters; a granddaughter, CyGy Stevens; and a daughter-in-law, Katrina.
The viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 19th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. The funeral services are scheduled for noon on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, located at 1021 Pike Street, Marietta, OH.
