Jack Harwood Blair, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 21,2025 in Sun City Florida, after a long battle with dementia, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Deloris Blair; his son Scott; daughter Tina; and six grandchildren. Jack also leaves behind his brothers, Leroy (Butch) and Bruce Hawkins. He was preceded in death by his parents Bert Blair and Cora Blair Hawkins; stepfather Sparky Hawkins; sister, Noreen Styer, and son Tony Blair.
Jack graduated from Marietta High School in 1952 and soon after served in the National Guard. Following his military service Jack embarked on a fulfilling career with Union Carbide Metals / Elkem, from which he retired after many years of service.
Although Jack will be missed by all who knew and loved him; there will be no service by his request. His life and memory can be honored through a donation to your local humane society.
