Ted Richard Berry Sr., age 69, of Marietta, OH, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. He was born March 21, 1955, in Washington County, OH a son of the late Emmett Berry and Mary Bloomingdale Carver.
He started and operated his own business, Ted Berry Contractor for 37 years. Ted took a lot of pride in his work. He was an avid hunter. Ted enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially listening to his son's band "Catch 22."
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law Richard and Sandy Felter; sister-in-law Sandy "Inky" Felter; nephew Josh Kidd.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 51 years Sue Berry; son T.J. (Christina) Berry; grandsons Trey (Jordan) Berry, Blaze (Kelsie) Berry, Tavian (Abri) Berry; great-grandchildren Lincoln, Ashton, Brixton, and another on the way. He is also survived by two brothers; one sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews; stepfather Freddie Carver; daughter-in-law Toni Berry. Ted will also be missed by many friends.
Cremation will be observed with no additional services being held at this time.
