Clifton E. Blosser, 85, of New Matamoras, OH, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Arbors of Marietta. He was born April 18, 1939 in Parkersburg, WV, to the late Okey and Ollie Pearl Belknap Blosser. Clifton served in the U.S. Army and retired from Ormet after 35 years. He is survived by his children Clifton E. Blosser Jr., (Ann), Ollie Jean Miller (Al) and William Okey Blosser (Diane), several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Blosser who passed away December 25, 2024, sisters Carol and Betty and a brother Ralph. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 10, 2025, at Hadley Funeral Home, 700 Main St., New Matamoras, burial to follow in Matamoras Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the staff at Arbors and Amedysis Hospice for their care and compassion.
