Douglas E. Wilson, 83, formerly of Pendleton, Oregon, died February 12, 2025. He was born on February 21, 1942, to Douglas and Belva Thompson Wilson in Chico, California. He was a Native American artist and his art was sold around the world. He was a proud member of the Walla Walla, Cayuse, Umatilla tribe in Oregon, and 47 years sober through AA. He is survived by his partner, Debbie McNutt, sister, Joan Lane (Gary) brother, David, Singh (Cheryl) Debbie's children, Jessie, Noah (Brandy), Tom (Sammy) and grandchildren, Desmond, Gus, Walter, Clara and Beau. He has many cousins and relatives on the Umatilla reservation that he loved and spoke of often he was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Sherman and Donnie. He enjoyed bike rides, a good powwow, coffee and conversations. Hadley Funeral Home handled the cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later.
