Lowell Foreman, 84, of Vincent, Ohio, died Monday morning, March 10, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born June 18, 1940, in Barlow, to Clarence William and Mary Alice Hayes Foreman.
He graduated from Vincent High School in 1958. He served many years on the Barlow Volunteer Fire Department and Barlow Fair Board. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes, tractors and auctions.
He retired from DuPont Washington Works in Parkersburg in 1999 after 37 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Rose Freeland Foreman; one son, Phillip E. Foreman (William DeLong) and Tracy D. Foreman, all of the home; his canine companion, Lucy; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and three sisters, Clarence E. "Junior" Foreman (Juanita), Francis "Bud" (Ellen) Foreman, Kathryn I. Miles (Orval W. "Jack"), Carolyn Wise (Daymon) and Nancy Gilley (Paul).
Services will be 1pm Saturday March 15, 2025, at the Leavitt Funeral Home Belpre. Burial will be in Barlow Central Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8pm. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.LeavittFuneralHome.com.
