Norma DeBona, 95, formerly of Williamstown, WV, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025 at Elison of Marietta. She was born August 3, 1929, in Fleming, OH, to the late William and Rose Simmons Christopher. Norma worked as a Supervisor for Kardex before retiring and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Williamstown. She was an avid golfer, playing until she was 89 in various women’s leagues and enjoyed attending her grandsons sporting events. She is survived by her son Randy DeBona of Manning, SC, daughter Kriss Bodnar (Steven) of Williamstown, WV, grandsons Kipp Bodnar (Kimberly) of Boston, MA, and Zane Bodnar (Allie) of Charleston, WV, great grandsons Beau, Cooper and Carter Bodnar. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene DeBona, daughter-in-law Marie DeBona, brothers William M. Lonnie, Leland, Herman and Kenneth Christopher, sisters Flora Callihan, Gladys Dunham, Freda Cunningham and Fay Schultz. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 7th at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta, OH, with Joe Webb officiating. A private burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.
