Barbara Jean Blake

Barbara Jean Blake, 87, of Marietta, OH, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025, at the Washington County Home. She was born May 20, 1937, in Marietta to the late Frederick and Frances Casto Stegner. Barbara is survived by her daughter Kim Staats (Randy) of Whipple, OH, son Kerry Blake (Karen) of Washington, WV., step-daughter Catherine Rees (Ron) of Marietta, grandchildren Jason McDonald (Amanda), Stacy McDonald (Beamer Huss) and Dylan Rees along with numerous friends at the Washington County Home. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Fredric Ray Blake. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, April 24th at Hadley Funeral Home, 1021 Pike Street, Marietta, with burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 90 Mt Tom Rd., Marietta, OH 45750.
