Barbara L. Ruble, 79, of Crestline, OH, went to be with her Lord on Good Friday, April 18, 2025. Born May 20, 1945, in Marietta, OH, she was the daughter of the late James and Florence Hanlon Ruble. Following almost 30 years employment, she retired from MedCentral Health System as director of housekeeping. After retirement she spent many happy years in Marana, AZ before returning to Ohio for health reasons. Barb loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends in Ohio and Arizona, and with her beloved pets Danny and Sandy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Howell, twin brothers, Roy and Ray Hanlon, daughter-in-law Tina Molloy Howell, and granddaughter Rebecca Ann Howell. She is survived by her six children, Bryan R. Howell, Robert (Brenda) Howell, Tammy (Brian) Stolsmark, Sonya (Kendall) Hack, Bret (Alissa) Howell, and Tonya (Patrick) Knoble; a brother, Dean Ruble and a sister, Shirley Howell; grandchildren, Bryan R. (Tonya) Howell, Jr., Curtis Howell, Brandon Molloy, William Howell, Stephen (Brandi) Howell, Ashley (Kayleigh) Stolsmark, Jacob Stolsmark, Shauna Crosby, Jeremiah (Sarah) Crosby, Brent Howell, Bryan (Ashley) Howell, Bradley Howell, Bryson (Hannah) Howell, Breanna Howell, Shaylan Shafer, Bailey Knoble, Sahar Johan, Samuel Howell, and Sorina Howell; and many great-grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly.

Friends may call Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Ave. E., Mansfield, OH 44905, where funeral services will be held immediately following at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
