Judy Ann (Schoeppner) Pomar passed away on March 7, 2025, at Halifax Hospice in Port Orange, Florida, at the age of 81 years old. She was Born on March 28, 1943, in Harriettsville (Noble County), Ohio to the late Sumner G (Sam) Schoeppner and Virginia E Rhodes Schoeppner.
She is survived by her children; Donal J. Pomar of South Daytona and Mark E. Pomar (Kim) of Port Orange. Her sister, Regina Bridgman of Caldwell, OH, her brother James E. Schoeppner Sr. (Helen) of Mineral Wells, WV. Her Grandchildren Alisha Pomar-Hamilton (Tony), Jonathon Pomar, Jillian Blowers, and Colin Pomar. Great grandchildren Abigail, Jocelyn, Lincoln, Levi, Isabella, and Flynn. Judy also shared her love with extended family: nieces, nephews, cousins, and an abundance of friends.
She graduated from Lower Salem Ohio High School in 1960. She was united in marriage to Donal F. Pomar on August 4, 1964. She continued her education after her marriage and graduated from Daytona Beach Community College (Daytona State). She worked for the Volusia County School Board for many years before retiring. She enjoyed fishing, camping, playing computer games, enjoyed the company of her pets, spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed participating in living history. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Sister; and she will be missed by family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her Husband Donal F. Pomar, Father Sumner (Sam) Schoeppner, her Mother Virginia Rhodes Schoeppner, her in laws Donal B Pomar & Catherine Pomar, great niece Kelsey Gerst, and nephew James (Jimmy) E. Schoeppner Jr.
