Randy Kay Pugh

Randy Kay Pugh, 70, of Stockport, Ohio, died on Friday, May 16, 2025 at his home. He was born on January 27, 1955 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Kay N. and Mabel Rhea Hammock Pugh. Randy graduated from Waterford High School, attended Ohio University and graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He had been a Funeral Director and Embalmer for 35 years before his retirement. Randy served as a trustee for Palmer Township for fifteen years and had owned and operated the Bow Shop where he sold arrows, ammo and other hunting supplies for several years. Randy loved to hunt and felt very comfortable in the woods. On September 16, 2005 he was married to Mary “Dee” Fenton Pugh, who survives. He is also survived by two sons, David Pugh and his wife Hope and Dennis Pugh; a daughter, Stephanie Brannan and husband Mike; four grandchildren, Kaycee Clark, Logan Pugh (Che), Ally Campbell and Jevin Pugh; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Tammy Pugh; he also had many cousins and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Pastor Greg Marquis officiating. Burial will be in the Dale Cemetery at Dale, Ohio. Friends may call 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral Home. The family would like to thank Dr. Mims at OSU James Cancer Center, Dr. Kelli Cawley and Cawley Hospice and the very special nurses, Daniell and Amy for their wonderful care.
