Carol Sue Heddleson

Carol Sue Heddleson, 75, of Little Hocking, OH, passed away June 1, 2025, at Marietta Memorial hospital.

She was born July 2, 1949, a daughter of the late Benjamin Clayton Allman and Edith Marie Burton Allman.

Carol worked for the Bureau of the Public Debt, where she served with commitment and integrity throughout her career. She was known for her love of the outdoors and her vibrant spirit. She found great joy in gardening and tending to her flowers, as well as spending time camping, four-wheeling, and vacationing with her family. Her adventurous nature and deep love for her family created many cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Roger Heddleson; sons, Steven (Georgianna) Allman of Belpre, OH, Rodney (Melody) Allman of Belpre, OH; brothers, Bill Allman of Parkersburg, WV, Cecil Allman of Parkersburg, WV, David Allman of Parkersburg, WV; sister, Norma Terrell of Tuppers Plains, OH; grandchildren, Dakota, Dillon, Gracie, Jaxson, and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Friday June 6, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday June 5, 2025 at the funeral home.
